The project is a site-specific installation by Nero/Alessandro Neretti (1980), an artist trained in ceramics in Faenza who, over the years, has worked with a wide range of media, carefully exploring materials and disciplines.

The installation is arranged on different levels that extend out from the center of the piazza to the walls of the matroneum, and recalls, even in its title, the space reserved for the orchestra in theaters. In fact, the entire installation looks like an ideal open-air theater where all the elements are connected through sound and light. In the center is a metal structure resembling something from a construction site, bringing together both classical and more contemporary styles. The technological component is essential and illuminates the 50 openings in the matroneum that hold an equal number of pieces by the artist.
An audio element completes the installation: a ship siren as it is coming into port, which brings everything together.
