Inside the theoretical landscape #2
Nero/Alessandro Neretti

For my first project, (inside the theoretical landscape, 2012), the idea of creating a theoretical landscape was thought of by mingling industry/ machinery with that of art/man; whereas for inside the theoretical landscape #2 the notion of (re)creating an imaginary stellar landscape was examined, where planets form the theoretical pivot around which the project was developed.
The making of  inside the theoretical landscape #2 fits into a vast astral scenario. The 23rd June 2013 was a time of year when the distance between ‘our’ moon and the earth was at its shortest. Interestingly, this phenomena, scientifically called the lunar perigee or, more commonly, the super moon, has only happened a dozen of times since 1950.
The super moon allowed the piece to enjoy extraordinary natural light, creating a feeling that the theoretical landscape is somehow leaving its conceptual form and mutating into something more tangible.
The green stretch running alongside the mill houses perfect naturally raised spheres, and in a twilight limbo it queries space and the observer through its presence, raising the primordial question of man, the planet, and the Universe.
